We are looking for a reliable Housekeeper to support the day-to-day running of our nursery. Duties include laundry, light cleaning, restocking supplies and helping to keep the nursery clean, organised and well maintained.

This is a part-time role for a few hours each day, ideally between 10:00am and 12:00pm, with some flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the nursery’s laundry duties, ensuring a constant supply of clean bedding, flannels and other essential items.
  • Assist the nursery team with housekeeping tasks, including preparing children’s beds for nap times.
  • Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bathrooms, staff areas and shared spaces, to a high standard.
  • Vacuum, mop, dust and maintain all areas to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, tissues, gloves and cleaning products.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly.

We are currently recruiting reliable, self-employed domestic cleaners to work with our regular clients across the Brentwood area. If you take pride in delivering high standards of cleaning and enjoy working independently, we’d love to hear from you.

Hours & Shift Patterns

  • Hours: 40 hours per week on a rotational basis.
  • Shifts: 2 – 3 shifts per week (08:00am until 11:00pm) – with mandatory sleep-in shifts.

  • Providing emotional support during challenging times and assisting young people through past and present difficulties.
