Principle Care Homes is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality, personalized care to residents within Broomfield Village Care Home. In this role, you will support individuals in maintaining their independence and well-being while ensuring their safety, comfort, and a warm start to their day
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our team for our dedicated dawn care shifts, working 6:00am to 12:00pm.
Assist with resident morning care requirements, including dressing, personal hygiene, and breakfast support.
Ensure resident comfort, dignity, and privacy are strictly maintained at all times, tailored specific to individual needs.
Support residents with basic mobility, transfers, and positioning safely throughout the morning.
Maintain accurate care plans and assist with appropriate clinical and daily documentation.
Ensure strict confidentiality is applied to all residents and staff, adhering strictly to GDPR and need-to-know bases.
Communicate warmly and effectively with residents, their families, and visiting healthcare professionals.
Under direction, develop ongoing skills in specialized adult care and emotional support frameworks.
Report any health, safety, or well-being concerns immediately to the Nurse or Shift Leader in charge.
Carry out daily duties, housekeeping, and safety checks with accuracy as instructed by your line manager.
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) highly desirable / essential depending on experience.
Previous experience in a residential care or hospital setting preferred.
Reliability and punctuality to consistently commit to early 6:00am shift starts.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
Understanding of safeguarding, dignity in care, and health and safety regulations
