Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive Home Care Assistant (Driver) to join our dedicated community care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being across the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist clients with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility support.

  2. Follow individual care plans closely, providing medication reminders and basic health monitoring.

  3. Provide warm companionship and emotional support to combat isolation and promote mental well-being.

  4. Drive safely between client locations to deliver consistent, punctual care visits.

  5. Update digital care records and daily logs accurately using mobile e-care systems.

  6. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding care updates.

  7. Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

  1. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle for work visits (Essential).

  2. Fluent in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills.

  3. Basic IT literacy for managing electronic care software and documentation.

  4. Right to work in the UK.

  5. Previous experience in home care, domiciliary care, or a care home setting is preferred, but full paid training is provided.
